i'll just tell y'all this, ok,

the Iraq-Kuwait conflict, what caused it you may ask. even if you don't ask, you better read on, cause you probably needa know these.

1)Historical Enmity, i'm doing this without the notes, so pay attention.

both Iraq and Kuwait used to be under the British Colony, until 1961 when the British said bye. both wanted independence so Iraq sent troops to Kuwait to attempt to take over, but they failed. in 1963 , they still had border clashes. in 1980s , the Iran-Iraq war left Iraq destroyed. behind kind, Kuwait lent Iraq US$14 billion . however, Iraq still had the intentions of taking over.

the impact on Kuwait was that they felt threatened by Iraq and they felt taken advantage of economically. also, they had to spend more money on defense, thus has lesser money to rebulid their economy . as for Iraq, they suffered war losses and their economy suffered badly. as they had to spend money on war and stuff, they did not have enough money to rebuild and improve economy, they posed a threat to the other middle east countries.
